We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Excavation Labourer to join our field crew. If you're physically strong, safety-minded, and ready to work outdoors as part of a team, this could be the opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with digging, trenching, and removing dirt and debris from work areas
- Using hand tools like shovels, picks, and rakes to support excavation activities
- Helping machine operators with setup, movement, and general site tasks
- Loading and unloading materials like gravel, sand, and construction supplies
- Keeping the site clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Setting up and dismantling temporary structures and safety barriers
- Supporting the crew with material handling, equipment prep, and general labor
- Following all safety protocols and reporting any unsafe conditions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual tasks
- Basic knowledge of excavation or construction work is an asset
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
- Previous general labor or construction experience is a bonus
