We are currently seeking candidates for seasonal Security Supervisor positions
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the Operations Coordinator or Director of Operations, the Security Supervisor position is a key operational field role responsible for supervision of guards, emergency response, and enforcement capacities on site. This may include but is not limited to all emergencies (medicals, environmental, criminal, or provincial offenses, etc.).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Deployment and delivery of guards to all posts while safely using a golf cart
- Ensure all designated posts are appropriately staffed at all times
- Direct and ensure all guards are following their duties accordingly, and provide supervision for guards to ensure workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Ensure that all guards are in compliance with Executek and policies and procedures
- Inspect guard uniform to make sure it is proper and in good repair at the beginning of each shift. Document any uniform requirements and forward the information to the Coordinator
- Keep accurate written records regarding any guards under your supervision, including any disciplinary action
- Provide break relief guards in the absence of a break relief guard
- Working with various security departments and local emergency responders (police, fire, ambulance) to provide a safe and secure environment
- This is a uniformed position consisting of high visibility security uniform, ballistic vest, handcuffs, collapsible baton, and law enforcement footwear. All team members are expected to attend duty with a clean uniform and appearance.
- Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; acts to ensure that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Communicates and coordinates with management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- You are required to maintain neat haircuts with trimmed sideburns no longer than the bottom of the opening of the ear and hairstyles must conform to a corporate image. Any questions should be directed to management for clarification.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- 1 Year experience as a Supervisor
- 1 Years of relevant experience or a combination of high affinity training and work experience
- First Aid, CPR, and AED Training
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Must have previous experience with report writing

- Valid class G driver’s license and clean drivers abstract

- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Ability to providing quality customer service.
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at the client site.
