A day in the life
You will:
- Strive to provide a memorable experience for all of our customers whether it be in-store, over the phone, at the tasting bar, or during events
- Organize and coordinate all in-store events, educational classes and assist with tastings
- Create and maintain relationships with key industry representatives while coordinating with them for events
- Communicate with Head Office to facilitate and execute new initiatives or directives
- Utilize your knowledge and passion for wine when assisting all customers
- Inform customers of all current happenings in the store: sales, promotions and any upcoming events that may be of interest to them
- Maintain an event catalogue/binder, keeping it organized and accurate
- Work with local businesses and members of the community to drive traffic into the store with partnerships and collaborative events
- Stay up to date and comply with all Liquor and Event regulations

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of event planning experience is an asset
- 1-2 years retail or customer service experience
- WSET Level 1 or applicable knowledge of the industry

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.75-$22.15 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
