Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction and mostly sewer and watermain road re construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of sewer and watermain trenching operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavtors, graders, and bulldozers to perform tasks including digging, grading, and site preparation.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate job site activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators, graders, and bulldozers.
- Strong road reconstruction knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity sewer and watermian construction including trenching and trench boxes .
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to equipment operation are advantageous.
