Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Scientist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Winnipeg Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the life of a Environmental Scientist at Pinchin:

  • Perform Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling programs, surveying and Site plan creation
  • Monitor underground storage tank removal programs
  • Prepare technical reports and assist with determining appropriate recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with project coordinators/managers to ensure projects are completed within the given timeline and budget
  • Work in both a self-lead and team environment
  • Liaise with site representatives and contractors

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science’s
  • 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to travel for work throughout Manitoba
  • Availability to occasional work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
  • Availability to use handheld tools such as pumps, hand augers, hammer drill, etc. to complete field activities
