Job Description: Turtle Bay IT Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Entry-Level Computer Technician with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience to join our growing team. As a Computer Technician, you will play a key role in providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with IT projects for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the IT industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with team members to document and track all support tickets and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and system optimizations.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, and software licenses.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, preferably in an IT services environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows and/or macOS).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an asset but NOT a requirement.
