Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and filing
- Assist with accounts payable and general accounting processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Perform basic reconciliations and contribute to monthly closing procedures
- Communicate with vendors and internal staff regarding routine inquiries
- Help ensure smooth office operations within the finance team
- Other accounting duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in accounting or business (optional but appreciated)
- Prior experience in an administrative, accounting, or office support role is helpful but not required
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Commitment to consistent, high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and receptive to feedback, direction and collaboration
- Quick to learn and adapt, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and consistency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, with a strong command of Excel
- Maintains professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
