Are you a multitasking maestro with a knack for organization and a passion for helping others? Join our Enrolment Services Support team! Reporting to the Manager, International Enrolment Services, this position performs administrative and staff support duties, and is responsible for the smooth delivery of all front-line and customer service operations for the International Enrolment Services office.
What You’ll Do:
  • Responds to front-line inquires by phone, email, in-person walk-ins, and virtual platforms;
  • Organizes office mail, and sends out courier packages;
  • Procures office supplies;
  • Data entry of international undergraduate application and prepares student application materials for next phase of processing;
  • Responsible for daily maintenance of office files;
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and daily cash-out procedure;
  • Provides support for monthly reconciliation process;
  • Schedules appointments and coordinates meetings;
  • Assists with the delivery of domestic and international events;
  • Assists in writing, editing and proofreading documents and materials;
  • Supervises the daily workflow and coordinates the training of all new Enrolment Services Support staff on front line procedures;
  • Running application reports as necessary and providing to the Manager;
  • Generating and sending admission decision letters;
  • Updates social media sites and the unit’s website;
  • Provides general administrative support;

Position Requirements
What You’ll Bring to this Position:
  • Grade 12, supplemented by the successful completion of a recognized business course;
  • Minimum of three years’ related experience, preferably within a university environment;
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.


Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of University’s systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the University community, programs and administrative offices.
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures is an asset.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural recommendations on sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, procedures, and processes.
  • Experience in records management and tracking of information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in office practices, principles and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 4 Salary Range $44,262.40- $59,768.80 Annually Status Term Work Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
In addition: Work outside regular hours, evenings and weekends may be required. Work from home not an option. Travel within Canada and abroad may be required.
