We are currently searching for ambitious and highly motivated Electronics Soldering and Assembly personnel who will assist the Manufacturing, Testing, and Engineering departments.
Responsibilities:
- Install components and connectors on printed circuit boards (PCBs), as per assembly drawings
- Solder fine pitch connectors and fine wires on PCBs
- Hand solder to IPC standards
- Handle and prepare electronics components according to company standards
- Assist in cable assemblies, as per assembly instructions
- Assist in box assemblies, as per assembly instructions
- Use tools in the assembly of PCBAs
- Follow ESD safe practices
- Assist other departments, as needed
Requirements:
- Working knowledge and interest in electronics
- Ability to read, and understand, electrical and assembly drawings
- Must be thorough, have an attention to detail, and will follow strict SOPs, ISO standards, and protocols
- Must maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Initiative to learn
Education:
- College diploma or certificate in a related field, or
- 1 to 2 years of related job experience
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing is an asset. Training will be given to the right candidate.
