About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and self-driven Electromechanical Technician to join our team on a 1-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the automotive or EV sector, who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for wiring, harnessing, control panel assembly, and other electromechanical tasks. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, a can-do attitude, and be comfortable working independently on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and harnesses for automotive EV systems.
- Perform control panel assembly and integration using schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools for daily assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of organization and documentation.
- Lift and handle components up to 50 lbs as part of the physical requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in electromechanical field, preferably within the EV or automotive industry.
- Proven experience with wiring, harnessing, mechanical assembly, and control panel fabrication.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued.
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Willingness to work on-site daily in an office/shop environment.

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
