Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer hardware and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and repair various mechanical industrial printing devices. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, part drawing, as handling small screws and other hardware. The Bench Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is repaired and maintained to the highest standards for our customers.
Duties
- Diagnose, clean and repair mechanical industrial print heads, ensuring functionality and performance standards are met.
- Repair, calibrate, adjust dot matrix ink jet print heads
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent future issues.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out repairs and modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a small tight knit team
- Ability to keep a clean and organized workstation
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Experience
- Experience in computer hardware repair and small mechanical device maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools for repairs.
- High attention to detail for extended periods.
