```Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The hours are from 7 am- 8:00am and from 2 pm - 6pm. On Fridays the hours are 12 pm-6pm. We are located in Buffalo Rubbing Stone School so can calculate your commute and feasibility before applying. We have a strong team of educators that will guide you and ensure your stay with us is full of learning and joy.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
Requirements:
- ECE Level 1, 2, 3
- Previous experience working with children in a school age setting or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with co-workers and school community.
- Ability to plan age-appropriate activities based on Emergent Curriculum philosophy.
- Energetic and able to participate in activities indoors and outdoors.
