Ummah Society/ Maritime Muslim Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the classroom.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities.
