Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying tape and finishing materials to drywall, ensuring a smooth surface for painting and other finishes. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on various construction projects.
Duties
- Apply tape to joints and seams of drywall installations.
- Smooth out surfaces using various finishing techniques.
- Perform caulking tasks to seal gaps and ensure a clean finish.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure project specifications are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with additional maintenance person tasks as needed, including minor repairs and adjustments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall finishing.
- Strong skills in caulking and sealing applications
- Previous experience as a carpenter or maintenance person is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and reliability on the job site.
