Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall finishing and be proficient in applying tape and joint compound to create a smooth surface for painting. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site.
Responsibilities
- Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams and corners to ensure a seamless finish.
- Smooth out surfaces using various tools and techniques to achieve the desired texture.
- Inspect finished work for quality and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Read blueprints and project specifications to understand job requirements and scope of work.
- Perform caulking tasks as required to seal gaps around windows, doors, and other fixtures.
Skills
- Proficient in construction painting techniques.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing processes.
- Strong maintenance person skills with the ability to perform various construction-related tasks.
- Knowledge of caulking methods and materials.

Pay: $22.72-$40.00 per hour
