Overview
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drywall installation and finishing techniques, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is essential in ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared for painting and finishing, contributing to the overall quality of our projects.
Duties
- Apply tape to joints and seams of drywall to create a smooth surface for painting.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a professional finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of work.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus.
- Skills in maintenance person tasks, including basic carpentry, are beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately is essential for successful project execution.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.91-$38.51 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
