Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all garments and linens are pressed to perfection, maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation required in our establishment. This position is essential in supporting our laundry operations, particularly within a hotel environment, where guest satisfaction is paramount.
Duties
- Operate pressing machines and equipment to ensure garments and linens are wrinkle-free and well-presented.
- Inspect items for stains or damages prior to pressing, ensuring quality control.
- Follow specific care instructions for different fabrics to prevent damage during the pressing process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with laundry staff to manage workflow and ensure timely completion of pressing tasks.
- Assist in sorting, folding, and organizing clean items as needed.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing any concerns regarding pressed items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or laundry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and fabric care is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $17.20-$26.89 per hour
