Liberty Foods is looking to hire reliable and consistent, highly motivated and friendly delivery drivers!
We deliver groceries (packed in boxes) directly to our customer's home. Starting from our store, you will load orders in your vehicle and follow a pre-planned delivery route.
This is an Independent Contractor position that requires the use of your own vehicle and your own smartphone. Compensation is paid every month through direct deposit and delivery shifts are typically 1 - 2 hours in length.
Although previous experience is not necessary, we do require applicants to have a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
Requirements
- A vehicle with valid insurance
- A smartphone with a data plan
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- A positive, friendly attitude!
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Must be able to work under limited supervision
- Must be able to drive on the road for 4-6 hours
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties:
- Organize and load orders in own vehicle
- Deliver orders in a timely fashion
