Alpenglow Site Services Ltd. is a growing local business providing portable toilet and temporary fencing services across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver. We’re a small, friendly team with a “get it done” attitude, and we’re looking for hardworking individuals to help support our expansion.
Position Summary
We’re hiring a Driver / Fence Installer to handle delivery, setup, and pickup of temporary construction fencing, plus yard support. This is a part-time role with guaranteed work on Monday and Thursday. Availability on Wednesday and Friday (on-call) is a strong asset. Occasional support with portable toilet deliveries/pickups for larger jobs may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and remove temporary fencing at construction and event sites
- Safely load/unload trucks and trailers; apply signage to fence panels
- Assist with shop/yard work: panel painting, cleaning, minor repairs
- Support portable toilet team for larger jobs as needed
- Take accurate site photos; follow routing instructions via app
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers; follow safety procedures
- Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when needed
Requirements
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 100 lbs)
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence; clean driver’s abstract
- Experience towing and backing a trailer (14–20’)
- Comfortable using a smartphone (navigation, routing app, photos)
- Professional demeanor; strong communication; reliable and safety-focused
- 1–2 years commercial/construction driving preferred; fencing/portable toilet experience an asset
- Willing to work occasional extended hours or weekends depending on demand
Schedule
- Guaranteed: Monday & Thursday (8–10 hour days) — we guarantee these shifts
- On-call asset: Wednesday and Friday (we’ll offer extra shifts when available)
Compensation & Perks
- $27–$30/hr (depending on experience)
- Overtime pay where applicable
- All equipment and safety training provided
- Flexible extra shifts (when available)
