We are currently seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pet Care Professional.
Job Description:
As a Pet Care Professional, you will be responsible for the daily care and supervision of dogs staying at our resort. The ideal candidate will have pet care experience, a passion for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional care and service to both pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of 4-6 staff members.
- Supervise and engage with pets in play areas and during activities
- Provide feeding, grooming, and exercise routines as needed
- Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common areas
- Administer medications and special care as directed
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' behavior and activities
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience working with a team.
- Experience working with animals in a professional setting (preferred but not required)
- Genuine love for and understanding of pets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
