Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Professional Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience as a Professional Groomer, a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Professional Groomer, you will be responsible for the grooming and care of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. This role requires excellent customer service skills to build relationships with pet owners while maintaining a safe and clean environment for both pets and staff.
Duties
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs .
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
- Handle pets safely and comfortably, using proper lifting techniques for larger animals when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of services performed must- Min of 5 years experience. on each pet, including any special instructions or notes from pet owners.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the grooming area and facility.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional groomer, capable of grooming all breeds to breed standard, independently.
- Capable of grooming a minimum of 5 dogs a day.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds .
