Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dock Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse distribution process, ensuring that goods are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. Duties
- Operate various types of equipment including forklifts within the dock area.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Perform lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety in the dock environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and dock equipment is highly desirable.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
