Konink Logistics Inc. is a leading provider of transportation and logistics services, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispatcher.
Job Description: As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the daily operations of our fleet. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling drivers, monitoring routes, ensuring timely deliveries, brokering freight and coordinating customs requests. You will be the key point of contact between drivers, customers, and management, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor and track the progress of routes and deliveries by communicating with drivers to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Manager customer accounts while providing excellent customer support.
- Coordination of customs requirements.
- Brokering freight.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or transportation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- High level proficiency in English (French is an asset).
- Familiarity with USA backhaul dispatching.
- Experienced with brokering excess loads.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Competence in using dispatching software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
