We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help with the storage of clean dishes and utensils in their designated places.
- Dispose of trash and waste materials properly throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during peak service times.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and basic kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in a supportive role within the kitchen team.
