Who We're Looking For

We’re hiring a Director of Conversion Strategy & Experience to build and lead a unified, high-performing CRO function at Clever Digital Marketing. This person will be responsible for scaling our testing infrastructure, improving landing page performance, and creating a cohesive conversion strategy across both Paid Search (WordPress) and Paid Social (ClickFunnels).
This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership seat responsible for unifying strategy, experimentation, execution, and performance across multiple teams.


What You'll Do


  • Own and evolve the company-wide CRO strategy across Paid Search and Paid Social
  • Lead and scale the CRO team (Manager + Specialists); unify process and reporting across services
  • Build and manage a centralized testing roadmap across client portfolios
  • Oversee the conversion-focused landing page optimization strategy across WordPress and ClickFunnels
  • Partner with Paid Media, Dev, and UX teams to ensure alignment and prioritization of testing initiatives
  • Define and track funnel performance metrics (CPL, CPSet, CPDemo, CPDeal) and improve conversion rates across all stages
  • Build SOPs, QA systems, testing documentation, and dashboards for repeatable CRO execution
  • Develop internal training, onboarding, and experimentation frameworks to scale CRO thinking across departments
  • Lead collaborative rituals: testing retros, idea backlog reviews, and experiment post-mortems
  • Report performance, insights, and velocity to executive team monthly

What We're Looking For


  • 6+ years of experience in CRO, landing page optimization, or performance UX
  • You have led a CRO program/tool for the organization in a previous leadership role
  • Experience leading CRO in a lead gen or paid media agency environment
  • Direct management of CRO strategists, testing managers, or experimentation pods
  • Strong understanding of performance media KPIs (CPL, ROAS, CPSet, etc.)
  • Expertise with both qualitative and quantitative research methods ( Hotjar, GA4, A/B testing tools, user testing, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with WordPress, ClickFunnels, and other landing page builder tools
  • Proven systems-builder: has built or scaled testing backlogs, documentation systems, and team workflows
  • Experience building testing systems across different channel strategies (Search vs. Social)
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with developers, designers, media buyers, and strategists
  • Clear communicator who can simplify data and testing rationale to executives and clients alike
