Position Summary:
As the Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience from the moment they walk through the door to the time they leave. You will oversee all front-of-house operations during service, lead and inspire the dining room team, and ensure the highest standards of hospitality are met consistently. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the front-of-house team during service hours
- Maintain Pampa’s service standards and ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and urgency
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar management to ensure seamless service
- Schedule, train, and develop front-of-house team members
- Manage floor plans, table rotations, and reservation logistics
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the dining room
- Enforce health, safety, and food handling protocols
- Maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Guest-first attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Brazilian cuisine or churrascaria-style service is an asset
- Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) and POS software
