Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fuel Injection Technician to join our dynamic team.
Duties
- Looking for Diesel Fuel Injection Technician.
- Work primarily consists of inline and rotary pumps, common rail and EUI injectors from Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Stanadyne. CAT inline, 33 and 3400 series pumps.
- Modern shop with 2 Bosch 815’s, DCI700, EPS205, New Merlin EM20 & MDS7000.
- Repair and rebuild fuel injection pumps, injectors, actuators and governors.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on fuel injection pump. Perform visual inspection on injection pumps.
- Test and calibrate injectors and pumps.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis on malfunctioning equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble injection pumps and calibrate pumps on test bench.
- Strip, clean and reassemble fuel injection pumps.
- Ordering necessary pump parts for repairs.
- Document repair process and record calibration values.
- Conduct root cause and analysis for recurring technical issues, minimizing future breakdowns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Fuel Injection Technician.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
