Our agency provides residential supports for adult males diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are currently looking to recruit for relief, part-time and full time positions.

Requirements
- Ability to engage and support residents in community activities
- Implement assigned individual care plans
- Provide support to individuals who may require assistance with daily living skills, life skills, behavioural management, social skills and other areas
- Able to work 12hr shifts (including evenings, weekends and nights)
Additional Responsibilities
- Administer medications
- Complete daily shift logs, incident reports, medication sign-off and other legal documents
- Comply with all policies and procedures as established by the agency
- Transport residents to and from appointments and community outings (in personal vehicle)
- Attend appointments with residents
- Assist residents with daily hygiene routines and household chores
- Interact professionally with residents, parents and co-workers
Required Experience
- Child and Youth Worker or Social Service Worker or diploma in related field along with 12-months of working experience in the field considered an asset
- Experience in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) an asset
- Experience with behavioural management systems (i.e. SMG) an asset

Required Documentation
- Upon hire you will need to provide a valid Criminal Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector, a completed medical form with updated immunizations, current First and CPR certifications, valid Ontario G class driver’s license in good standing.
