Our busy office located in East York is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate has a charming and outgoing personality, is a Level 2 HARP Certified RDA. If you are passionate about hospitality and take pride in creating exceptional experiences, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities and tasks include, but not limited to the following:
-Preparing treatment rooms and accommodating patients in a timely manner
-packing and Sterilization of instruments
-Organization of supplies
-Practicing exceptional IPAC standards
-Charting on computer patient software (Abeldent preferred).
-Multitasking
-Ordering supplies
-Welcoming, greeting, escorting guests. Ensure all their needs are met prior to arrival.
-Attending patient comforts and needs in the office.
-Always ensuring a positive attitude, acting as a leader and role model for staff to emulate.
-Reliable and punctual.
QUALIFICATIONS
- LEVEL II RDA, HARP CERTIFIED REQUIRED
- Minimum 4 years of Canadian Dental Assisting experience
- Knowledge of all dental procedures including:
* Basic dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics and Surgery
- must have at least 3 years of Oral Surgery experience including: Wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafts, Implant surgery etc.
- Have strong leadership qualities to handle any situation that may rise in matters of guest service so that guests are satisfied.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to communicate effortlessly and professionally to guests and staff in a warm manner.
- Ability to work under stressful situations, handling more than one task at a time.
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality

Hours:
Monday: 11:00AM – 7:00PM
Tuesday: 8:30AM-4:30PM
Wednesday: 11:00AM-7:00PM
Thursday: 9:00AM-5:00PM
Friday: 8:30AM-4:30PM
Saturdays (alternate): 9:00AM-3:00PM.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
