We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as curve hero.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care, including assisting in orthodontics or pediatrics when necessary.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- 3D printing of night guards, crowns
- Denture scanning and impressions
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in areas such as orthodontics and pediatrics being advantageous.
- Knowledge of dental software systems like Dentrix or Epic is preferred.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is beneficial but not mandatory.
