We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to dental assisting are preferred.

Pay: $21.08-$32.94 per hour
