Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Demolition Specialists. This role involves the safe and efficient dismantling of structures and the removal of materials in preparation for new construction or renovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various construction techniques and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Perform demolition tasks on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Safely operate demolition equipment and tools, including saws, jackhammers, and excavators.
- Remove materials such as drywall, concrete, masonry, and tile while minimizing damage to surrounding structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to facilitate the smooth transition from demolition to construction.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring all debris is properly disposed of.
- Assist in the installation of new structures, including drywall, cabinets, and electrical components as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in demolition or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with tile laying, masonry, concrete forming, drywall installation, cabinet installation, and electrical work is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times on the job site.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to various job sites.
