Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading when necessary (if certified).
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or delivery preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks (up to 80 pounds).
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
