Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks and driving duties to support operations. This position involves physical labour, equipment and parts handling, and transporting materials, goods, or personnel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour tasks such as loading/unloading materials, warehouse cleanup, and assisting team members.
- Operate company vehicles (e.g., Car, pickup truck) to transport parts and/or equipment to suppliers and customers
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed, following safety protocols at all times.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment by performing basic inspections and reporting any issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and vehicles.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (read / write)
- Valid driver’s license (Full G Class) with a clean driving record and abstract - Must suppply.
- Must have 5+ years driving experience
- Must be 25 years or older (Insurance Qualification)
- Previous experience in delivery / general labour.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification or other equipment operation experience.
- Experience in the fluid power industry.
- Knowledge of basic tools and mechanical equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily indoors or in a company vehicle.
