Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Delivery Driver plays a key role in delivering our products to on-premise and retail customers across the greater Calgary area. If you’re a self-motivated, customer-focused team player with a knack for logistics and a love for local, we want you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver Railyard products to customers on time.
- Plan and execute efficient daily delivery routes.
- Handle daily loading and unloading of the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain detailed records.
- Collect payments for deliveries as needed and handle proper documentation.
- Follow all transportation laws while maintaining a clean driving record and vehicle.
- Pitch in with production tasks like packaging, organizing storage, and general warehouse duties (some cleaning & chemical use may be required).
- Regularly use dollies and pallet jacks to get the job done.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving an E-450 truck (or similar vehicle).
- A reliable, positive individual who provides exceptional customer service.
- A team player who’s ready to follow assigned routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and carrying up to 155lbs (frequent lifting of 55lbs) throughout the day
- Must have good working knowledge of Calgary and surrounding area roads and neighborhoods.
- Forklift operation experience (an asset but not required).
- Bonus points for experience in the beer industry, customer service, or delivery.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and app-based tools.
- A high level of organization and attention to detail.
