Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate warehouse environments.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items during transit.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Experience in warehouse settings is a plus, with knowledge of inventory processes.
- Experience with driving up to 5 tonne truck
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or similar equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
