Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages or equipment as necessary.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus, including experience with forklifts.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations.
- Must be at least 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
