Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and nurturing young children in a safe and engaging environment. This role is crucial in fostering the development of children, including those with disabilities, and ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide caregiving support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist children with daily routines, including meals, naps, and hygiene practices.
- Foster an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Background in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to educate and engage children effectively.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for working with diverse needs, including working with persons with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports the emotional and social development of children.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
