Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Duties

• Prepare and chop ingredients for meals, ensuring all items are prepped according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist in cooking and assembling dishes under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
