The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to lead fun and engaging dance sessions during our week-long summer camp (July 28–Aug 2). This role may also extend into the school year as a weekly instructor for after-school or weekend classes.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily 45-60 minute dance sessions during camp week for children aged 5–12
- Choreograph age-appropriate routines in styles such as hip hop, K-pop, and TikTok-inspired movement
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork through dance
- Support group performances for the camp showcase
- Collaborate with camp staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants
- Optional: Teach a weekly dance class during the academic year (Sept–June)
Requirements
- Experience teaching dance to children aged 4–12
- Strong choreography and instruction skills in hip hop, K-pop, or TikTok trends
- Energetic, friendly, and reliable with a positive classroom presence
- Available for all 5 days of camp (July 28 – August 1, Class time is flexible - most likely in the afternoon)
- Clear vulnerable sector police check (required upon hiring)

- Experience with performing or leading group dance showcases
- Ability to bring your own playlist, style, and energy
- Interest in continuing into the fall for weekly dance instruction
