The Role
As a Part-Time Instructor in Cybersecurity (e.g., Operational Security, Splunk, and Python), your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing course plans and teaching materials to meet the defined training objectives
- Delivering engaging instruction aligned with module objectives
- Assessing students’ progress and performance
- Participating in certain program-related administrative tasks
- Ensuring students comply with policies and guidelines
- Taking part in selected College activities
Required Experience & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity
- A college or university degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Strong knowledge of Splunk
- Excellent understanding of tools and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800, CIS CSC, MISP)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in teaching, facilitating workshops, or coaching colleagues is highly desirable
