Salary: $5,018 – 5,232 – 5,423 – 5,656 – 5,889/month (2024 Rates)
Schedule: 40 hours weekly; Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00PM

This position works in the Facilities Management – Inside Building Service Workers organizational unit. This is janitorial and custodial work involving building maintenance and repair duties of a minor routine nature. Work assignments are received in either oral or written form. Considerable independence of action is exercised and day-to-day tasks but more complex problems are referred to a supervisor, who reviews performance on the basis of quality of work and services rendered. Performs related work as required.
Qualifications include up to high school graduation plus several years' experience in related work or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You should have good knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, materials, tools and equipment used in minor and routine building maintenance and repair work along with that of janitorial work. You will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and skill in the use of a variety of tools used in the work. A valid Driver’s License for the Province of British Columbia (some positions) is required.
This is a temporary full time position until October 17, 2025.
