Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, wiping, and dusting of various areas within the resort.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, parking lots, hallways, decks, stairwells, elevator and walkways.
- Conduct regular inspections of the resort grounds to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
The applicant must be able to work from Thursday to Monday and on statutory holidays. This job is mostly outdoors.
