We are seeking a Couples and/or Family Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in helping couples and/or families strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and deepen connection. Our practice is located just steps from Lake Ontario, offering a calming and unique setting for in-person therapy.
This subcontracting role starts at 8–12 hours per week, with the potential to expand.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of couples and/or families.
- Develop and implement relational treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (e.g., EFT, Gottman, systemic approaches).
- Support clients in fostering healthier communication and stronger relationships.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
- Collaborate within a supportive and collegial group practice.
Skills & Qualifications
- Registered and authorized to practice psychotherapy in Ontario (e.g., RSW, RP, Psychologist).
- Professional and commercial liability insurance.
- Specialized training and experience in couples and/or family therapy.
- Ability to hold a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for multiple perspectives.
- Trauma-informed and holistic in approach.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Position Details
- Commitment: 8–12 hours/week.
- Format: In-person/virtual sessions at our office.
- Compensation: $120.00+ per clinical hour.
- Caseload: Couples and/or families; referrals provided to support your practice growth.
