The Corporate Inventory Analyst works closely with the Corporate Parts Inventory Team. This position is responsible for developing and providing reporting and data analytics for many aspects as it relates to inventory control, pricing, and supplier performance. The Analyst will also work with the Inventory Controllers to source and position parts inventory throughout the Brandt Industries inventory network.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Report Creation and Running (Inventory Control / Pricing / Supplier Performance)
- Sourcing inventory from internal and external suppliers
- Distributing inventory throughout the network
- Manage ongoing relationship with key vendors and their personnel
- Ensure update of all prices assigned align with our pricing strategy
- Provide input on pricing changes that need to be made
- Complete surplus returns and provide to stores to pick/execute
- Return Closeouts (AR Docs / Removal of Inventory)
- Special Projects (Product Changeover / Cross References / Strategic Sourcing)
- Create larger top up, seasonal or container load orders to be reviewed by Inventory Manager
- Additional Duties as assigned

Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as VBA, DAX, Python, SQL and others.
- Previous experience working within a parts department would be an asset, but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical / critical thinker who can problem solve and think outside the box
- Strong work ethic, willing to put in extra time as needed to get the job done
- Experience with Power BI or similar systems an asset
