The Opportunity: We are looking for someone to join our growing team at 40 King St, Toronto in the Scotia Plaza building. Home to world-class businesses and a landmark in the heart of Toronto, Scotia Plaza draws on a rich history of knowledge and industry experience to provide office and retail spaces that are vibrant and reflect the pulse of the city, celebrating what was, and imagining what can be. Reporting to the General Manager, the Corporate Concierge will serve as a highly visible and accessible representative of this AAA class building. Through their previous experience, they would have demonstrated the ability to enhance the tenant experience and be an efficient, results-driven individual with exceptional customer relationship skills. The Concierge is also responsible for: responding to inquiries; ensuring contractors, tenants and guests comply with site regulations; attending community meetings and events.
What You Will Do:
- Manage client relations and provide excellent service to all clients and guests;
- Ensure contractors, tenants and guests comply with site regulations
- Communicate to all clients, guests, and employees in a professional manner;
- Anticipate and respond to all client issues/situations promptly and take appropriate action to rectify concerns;
- Display knowledge of all services, facilities and features of Scotia Plaza and promote the services and facilities to clients as appropriate;
- Keep up to date on current events and have expert knowledge of the surrounding community including the PATH, its amenities and services;
- Provide information and respond to inquiries from clients, visitors, and staff; refer to appropriate person as necessary;
- All other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Experience – 3-5 years related experience as a hotel/residential concierge; experience in a customer service, property management or hospitality related role; Les Clefs d'Or membership would be an asset, however it not required
Education – Post-secondary education - Relationship Skills – Exceptional and refined oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with tenants visitors, contractors and internal staff;
- Organizational/Multi-Task Skills - Ability to allocate one's time effectively and work under pressure; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; detail oriented;
Computer Skills – Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook - Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
