League and Williams is searching for a full time, in office, Conveyancing assistant. Minimum 2 yrs experience required. Our conveyancing department is growing and we are looking to add a team member who has strong interpersonal and communication skills, who is extremely reliable with attention to detail, has well developed organizational skills, is adept at using office technology, is able to prioritize their workload and is a team player. Duties
- Manage and oversee the conveyancing process from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare and draft legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, agreements, and transfer documents.
- Conduct thorough analysis of property titles and related documents to identify any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized files for each transaction, ensuring all documentation is readily accessible.
- Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Stay informed about changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in conveyancing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
- Proficient in legal drafting and writing clear, concise documentation.
- Ability to analyze complex information and identify potential issues in property transactions.
- Familiarity with relevant software applications for document management and communication.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $63,000.00-$69,000.00 per year
