Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fibre Optic Network Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Fibre Optic Networks and their construction processes, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labor teams to ensure project timelines are met.
- Review permits and IFC drawings to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to quality control measures.
- Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide training and guidance to team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in permit and IFC drawing reading and understanding schematics for effective project execution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FIbre Optic Networks and their construction is a must. Do not apply unless this is able to be well demonstrated.
- Proven ability in supervising teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control throughout all stages of construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs and challenges.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: $23.25-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
