Description:
NYRE is building a global career out of Toronto — aiming for viral moments, cult fanbase growth, and future arena tours. We’re hiring a creative, driven, and socially fluent Content Creator / Video Editor to help us level up our presence on TikTok, Reels, and other social platforms. This is an entry-level, part-time role, perfect for a student or aspiring content creator looking to break into the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and create 2-5 social media videos per week using raw footage provided
- Stay on top of TikTok and Instagram trends and suggest video concepts
- Collaborate via DM or video chat on visual ideas, pacing, and captions
- Ensure all content aligns with NYRE’s visual aesthetic and brand voice
- Occasionally assist in filming or sourcing content (if based in Toronto)
Requirements:
- Strong interest in music, pop culture, and social media
- Comfortable editing on apps like CapCut, etc.
- TikTok/Reels obsessed — you know what goes viral and why
- Good eye for timing, visuals, text overlays, and sound
- Bonus if you’re based in Toronto, but remote applicants welcome
