Content Creator – 3 Month Contract (Part Time)
The UMC team works in office from our award-winning creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto. This position requires applicants available to work 25 hours/week, Tuesday through Thursday in office.
Reporting to the Director, Audience Development, the Content Creator will amplify our artists’ stories and support the growth of UMC’s Nightvision and UMUSIC brands via creative visual content in various mediums. This is a unique opportunity to work with the industry’s music company and start building your career in the music industry prior to graduation.
How You’ll Lead
- Create relevant, original, high-quality content (posts, videos, images) for all relevant social media platforms to best engage target audiences, build awareness, convert and retain followers.
- Export and deliver all video projects within specific requirements
- Create video treatments and visual content ideas
- Address feedback to meet client needs
- Collaborate with team members
- Communicate quickly, succinctly and effectively
- Actively participate in team meetings, discussions and planning
- Meeting deadlines with all work
What You Bring
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong multitasking skills
- Experience with still photography, editing, animation, location shooting, set design, and post-production (editing, coloring, audio engineering, titles, graphics, etc.) all a plus
- Integrity when working on confidential projects
- Available to work 25 hours/week
- Bold, ambitious, creative thinking; an entrepreneurial style and a growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills anchored by honesty, approachability, and an open mind
